My fingers are freezing!!! Our electric bill was huge last month (which I contribute some to our decorative lights though most of the bill was probably caused from our trying to keep the apartment warm). Anyways, we've turned off the heat in every room but our bedroom and are thusly cold. Hopefully, our pipes don't freeze.
I have one pair of gloves, but they are dirty(and apparently I'm too proud to wear dirty gloves). It is a good thing I'm doing laundry tonight. Yesterday, I put a pair of socks over my hands. That worked pretty well except for when I needed to use my fingers. I have cold hands and feet normally; you'd think I'd be used to it, but I'm obviously not. This stinks.
In conclusion, our bill this month had better dang be low!!!
I understand your feelings on a cold house. We've been keeping ours either off or very low, and use lots of blankets, sweaters, and slippers to stay warm it usually works. Next time I come to Boise I'll bring some gloves for you, because I have way too many then I could use anytime soon. :)
